Original Viennese specialities
The Bitzinger family can look back on a long tradition in the catering industry as sausage stand operators. Bitzinger has been running the sausage stands at the Albertina since 1999 and at the Giant Ferris Wheel in the Prater since 2009. In addition to classics such as bratwurst, Käsekrainer, Burenwurst, Sacherwürstl and Waldviertler, we also serve hot dogs, Bosna and fiery Teufelsgriller.

The Augustinerkeller is located in the heart of Vienna, nestled within the historic walls of the Hofburg and deeply rooted in the city's culture. Founded in 1924 and an integral part of Viennese life ever since, the Augustinerkeller has been a place where tradition and hospitality go hand in hand for decades. After extensive renovations, it reopened its doors in 2024 - with a fresh concept that combines old and new in an impressive way.

Our sausage stand at the Albertina
In 2008, the legendary sausage stand at the Albertina was reopened with a new design and immediately nominated for the State Prize for Design. You will find our sausage stand right between the Opera House and the Danubius Fountain.

Our sausage stand in the Prater
Our second sausage stand has been located in the Vienna Prater near the Giant Ferris Wheel since 2009. Whilst enjoying your sausage, the sausage stand, which is decorated entirely in green, offers you a view of the Giant Ferris Wheel and the Kaiserwiese.
